She was preceded in death by her father William McRee, mother Florene McRee Duncan and stepfather Archie Duncan, husband Earl S. White and six siblings.
She was a devoted mother and had a great love for family. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Fernambucq (Barry), son Leslie White (Cheryl) and Nanette Lloyd (Bob) and 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. They include the following:

She was retired from AmSouth Bank and was an active member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. She attended West End High School and celebrated many reunions with her 1949 classmates.
A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 10:00am-11:00am in the chapel of Johns Ridout's Elmwood Chapel located at 800 Dennison Ave. SW Birmingham, Alabama 35211 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am. Burial will follow immediately at Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Dawson Memorial Baptist Church.
