Charles Michael Johnson passed away Wednesday July 15, 2015. Mr. Johnson was born July 21, 1953 and graduated from Phillips High School and the University of Alabama. He retired from the Internal Revenue Service after twenty five years of service. Mr. Johnson loved all sports, especially football and baseball. He also enjoyed auto racing.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Johnson; uncle and aunt Kermit and Golda Johnson and Mac and Honorine McKelvy; aunt Doris Haigler; and his cousin Jim McKelvy.
He is survived by his mother Dorotha Johnson; son Adam Johnson; daughter Breanna Brimberry (husband Jay); brother Philip Johnson; sister Marsha Kilpatrick (husband Kent); nephews Travis Johnson and Christian Kilpatrick; niece Crystal Kilpatrick; uncle Bill Horton (wife Ann); many wonderful friend including Jay Brown, Clifton Tribble and Bill Shaw and George Shaw. The family wishes to recognize his very special and wonderful friend Judy Tompkins.
In lieu of flowers it is asked that donations be made to The National Federation for the Blind in Baltimore, Maryland.
