Ann Glen Casey

Ms. Casey was born on February 16th, 1934 in Birmingham, Alabama to her parents Edgar and Nelda Glen. A graduate of Ensley High School, an employee of U.S. Steel and Lloyd Noland Hospital. She married Gilbert Casey in 1956 who preceded her in death in 2007. She retired from Lloyd Noland Hospital and dedicated her time to her friends and her family.

Ms. Casey was a devout christian and dedicated member of her church. She enjoyed spending time with her friends playing bridge and bunko. She also cherished the Warrior River and the Gulf coast and spent as much time as she could enjoying the outdoors.

Ms. Casey is survived by her son Scott Casey of Birmingham, AL, her son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Paige Casey of Birmingham, AL, her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Keith Marbut of Arab, AL, and five grandchildren, Mariah Casey, Sydney Marbut, Casey Marbut, Benjamin Casey and Laney Casey.

Ms. Casey will be buried at Elmwood Cemetery on Wednesday, April 29th, 2015. Visitation will be held at Elmwood Chapel beginning at 1:00 pm with chapel services following at 2:00 pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ms. Casey's life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart or American Lung associations.
