He was born on Thursday, December 17, 1964 to Robert and Gertrude Abrams in Long Island, New York. He graduated from Sachem High School in 1983. He moved to Citrus County, Florida over 30 years ago with his parents, where he then attended Firefighter college in Ocala, Florida. He spent 15 years as a dedicated volunteer Firefighter and Ex-Chief for the Beverly Hills Fire Department. He also worked for Cemex in Brooksville, Florida for 23 years. He passed peacefully in his sleep in the comfort of his home after battling multiple health issues. He loved the good life, his family, his work buddies, close friends and his fire department family. Help us celebrate Tim's love for life and all it had to offer him, as he smiles down at us saying, " That was one Hell of a Ride".
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Diana Abrams; Son, Matthew Abrams; Daughter, Mackenzie Abrams; Niece, Ashley Buddenbohm and Family; Sister-in law, Laura Duplain; Mother-in-law, Carol Stersic, as well as many family members. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Robert and Gertrude Abrams and Daughter Brittney Abrams.
The celebration of life service will be performed by Pastor Ken Blyth at Good Shepard Lutheran Church at 439 E Norvell Bryant Hwy, Hernando, FL on Saturday February 4, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Anyone wishing to speak or share a memory may do so. We will then go out to Fort Island Gulf Beach, to share photos, stories, music and laughter for all those who wish to join. Please bring your beach chairs and blankets. Also, please wear your favorite team jerseys. Chinese lanterns will be lit and released at sunset in remembrance of Tim and his life. This was where Tim and Dee had their first date and fell in love. We feel it is the perfect place to say "Love Ya, See Ya, Bye" one last time.
