Thomas B. Docherty

Doc proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a lifetime member of the 10087 VFW of Beverly Hills, as well as a member American Legion post 155. Thomas was also part of the Beverly Hills Fishing club since 1984. He had won many awards throughout the years for catching the biggest fish. Thomas was also member of recreation association, Beverly Hills Shuffleboard Club. He also started the first Men’s Softball team in 1985.

Thomas is survived by his son Thomas (Christina) Docherty and daughter Jean (Ronald) Watson. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Thomas is predeceased by his beloved wife Eugenia “Jean” Docherty.

Family and friends may visit at the Fero Memorial Gardens Cemetery 5891 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Fl. on Saturday September 15, 2018 at 12:00pm for Military Honors, with inurnment to follow.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast.
