Ramona A. Mejia, 86 of Citrus Springs, Florida died on Thursday, July 19, 2018. She was born in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday, May 25, 1932 to Ramon Matias and Altagracia E. (Arias) Marinez. Ramona had a passion for sewing and handmade all of the wedding gowns for the family. She enjoyed cooking and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ramona was preceded in death by her husband Jose R. Mejia.

Survivors include her sons, Nelson Mejia and wife Maria of Citrus Springs, Florida, Jose E. Mejia of Lynn, Massachusetts and Jose M. Mejia of New York, New York; daughters, Sandra Mejia Espaillat and husband Dan of Inverness, Florida, Nancy Rodriguez and husband Elliot of Citrus Springs, Florida and Janet Lleverias of Providence, Rhode Island; 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Memorial Service of Remembrance, Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Fero Funeral Home.
