Sharon Gail King passed away in Oklahoma City on October 30, 2024 at the age of 82. Sharon was born June 17, 1942 in Anstead, WV to Dewey Denver and Dorothy Blanche Rogers Propps. She came to OKC in September of 1969. Sharon worked at several places including C. R. Anthony’s, T G and Y and Braum’s as well as operating a gas station. She also enjoyed being a homemaker, and cooking, knitting, crocheting, ceramics and cake decorating. She loved helping others and making them smile. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Kenneth Propps and a great grandson, Abel. She is survived by her husband, Gordon of the home, 2 daughters, Carol A. Daws of OK and Connie S. Benson of TN, 2 brothers, Duane Propps and Keith Propps both of OK, sister, Julina Maker of Edmond, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life for Sharon will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM at Bill Merritt Funeral Service, 6201 Northwest 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK 73008.
