Ms. Nowak was my 5th grade teacher at Lakeview Elementary. Not only was she a great teacher, she supported me through one of the toughest times in my life. I've sent numerous letters to the school trying to get in touch with her over the years, but to no avail. I haven't seen her since 1996 when I was 16 years old. I only thought today of tracking her down online. It breaks my heart that she'll never know what she meant to me. I hope this message reaches her loved ones. She was the most influential mentor of my childhood. May she rest in peace.

I met Linda in 7th grade and we went on to be roommates at OSU.  Though we eventually lost touch, I never lost the memories!  I spent hours upon hours plus more hours at Linda's house when we teenagers.

Reading through this Guest Book, I can see she was a special teacher which does not surprise me at all.

I will always cherish my many, many memories of Linda.

Linda and I met in high school and went to Oklahoma State together.  We helped each other out on many occasion and I trusted her completely.  We lost contact when I moved to Georgia, but she has been on my mind this past month and now I know why.  Erin and Jeff you have my deepest condolences and I want you know that I will never forget your mom.  If you have a chance I would love to talk to you,  Linda Murdock Ennis

I knew Linda from working with her at Dolese. She was the Purchasing secretary, before she left Dolese to teach. She was a special friend all those years and even  after she left Dolese I tried to keep in touch, but after a few years, my cards came back & I have thought of her so many times. We had so much fun together. She brought Erin to my home after she was born and I still have pictures of baby Erin at my house. Linda was always spunky even in the hard times. I will miss her sweet smile. May God Bless & comfort all of her family at this time. You will be in my prayers.

Linda was a high school friend of mine from NWC.  I sat next to her in shorthand class and we sat on the back row.  We had a grand time laughing and cutting up together.  I think however we both took Mrs. Spann seriously and were a little afraid of her!  She had a contagious laughter and beautiful smile.  We sometimes would hit The Delta and Bixler's on the weekends looking for good looking guys!  I will always cherish the memories and good times we shared.  And for her children and family, thanks so much for the beautiful photos of Linda through the years.  May God bless and give you strength to get through all the hard times ahead. In my life, I have never had a teacher that inspired me as much as Ms. Nowak. Her third grade class was the best class I have ever been in. Going into high school as a senior this year, I will still look back on my memories of that year for inspiration and comfort. My thoughts are with her family as they deal with their loss.

One of the kindest teachers I ever had. She always had time to explain a little more or to listen if you had a problem. She will be missed...My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Linda has been an important part of my life for many years.  As a teacher she held herself to a standard for work and ethics that I always found inspirational.  As a friend she was always kind and ready to patiently and nonjudgmentally listen to any problem or worry.  She was willing to go out of her way to help if needed.  Though her life had its difficulties she could always find a way to laugh and be light-hearted.  I already miss being able to stop by her apartment any time or pick up the phone after nine p.m. for a shoulder to cry on, some truly wise advice, or to schedule a fun and carefree outing.

As a young 3rd grade pupil of Mrs.Nowak's I learned many important things from her. She had a distinct way of teaching in a spontaneous yet well structured way that affected many students young students. I am now 18 years old and still have not had a teacher quite like her.
