Born August 9th, 1943 in Cortland, New York. She was the third daughter of the late Clarence and Rebecca (Vincent) Brone.
She attended John Marshall High School in Rochester, New York. After high school, she was a founding member of the Gates Chili Volunteer ambulance service where she spent 12 years serving to her community. She worked at General Motors and held several positions in a catering service she co-owned with Gerald Gillette, her husband at the time. She and Gerald had 4 beautiful daughters together.
Moved to OK in 1977, she worked as the food service manager for the Bippo Company. She later became the Director ABC Daycare where she found her passion for taking care of children. She ultimately settled in to her real calling as a full-time homemaker.
Linda spent her free time playing games with family and friends, enjoying time to laugh. She also became involved in a doll club where she made porcelain dolls. This hobby became her passion which allowed her to display her creativity.
Linda is survived by her children, Lisa (Brad), Lori (Rick), Lynn (J.B.), Lee (Mike), Jerry (Khris); her grandchildren, Christopher, Tara (Kevin), Zachery (Amanda), Evan, Braden (Jessica), Amanda (Beau), Ashley (Lawrence), Johnny, Zane, Jack, Madi, Katrice, Kyle; her sisters Bonnie (Tom) and Kathy (Doug); several of her great grandchildren and nieces and a nephew.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband, parents and her sister Peggy.
