Jacqueline Allison Peters, 91, passed away December 6, 2020. She spent most of her life living in Warr Acres, and the last five years in Mustang, OK. She was born June 7, 1929 in Hockley County, TX to Claudine Allison. She graduated from Mannsville High School in Oklahoma and moved to Oklahoma City to begin her adult life. She worked at Sears Roebuck in the bookkeeping department for many years, and then returned to school to obtain her accounting degree. She graduated from what was then Central State University, with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She went on to work in the oil & gas field, then later worked out of her house preparing taxes for individuals. Jacqueline enjoyed gardening, sewing, crochet and knitting. One of her favorite pastimes was traveling the continental United States in an RV with Roy, the love of her life. She enjoyed cooking for others and helping others in whatever way was needed.
Jacqueline is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Steve Prater of Arkansas, a granddaughter and her husband, Kevin & Shelli Bradbeary of Blanchard, and four grandsons: Joe Peters of Oklahoma City, Stephen & Leslie Prater of Oregon, Bradley & Stephanie Prater of Alabama, and David & Kimberly Prater of Maryland; as well as 5 great-grandchildren: Ashley Hoevker & her husband Clint of Oklahoma, Kourtney Bradbeary of Oklahoma, Owen Prater of Oregon, Callum Prater of Alabama, and Isobel Prater of Alabama. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy (2005), and son Leon Peters (2015).
