Cecelia Ethel Ream, 86, passed from this life peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2013. She was born July 5th, 1926, in Scotland County, Missouri, to John Witte and Pauline (Riley) Witte. Cecelia learned the value of hard work growing up on the family farm in Edina, Missouri. As young women, she and sister Evelyn moved to Burlington, Iowa, for work. It was there she met the love of her life, Edwin K. Ream. They married in the Little Brown Church in the Vale on February 3, 1951. They loved one another deeply every day of their life together and after a small interruption, are holding hands again. They had two sons, Richard and Mark. Nothing was more important to Cecelia than her three men. A woman of simple wants and needs, she wanted everything for them and little for herself. Her sacrifices were many, her complaints were none, her strength was awe inspiring. God speed Rowdy - we will try to keep on task. She is survived by her children, Richard and wife Teresa of Claremore; Mark and wife Patti of Piedmont; grandson Michael Ream of Oklahoma City; great-grandson Blaine Ream and his mother, Shelli Dyer; brother John Witte of Kirksville, Mo.; as well as many family and friends whom loved her dearly. She is predeceesed by her parents, twin sister Delia, sisters Evelyn and Polly. We would like to thank the staff of Bellevue Rehabilitation Center and Centennial Hospice for the love and care they gave to all of us. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 5, 2013 at Bill Merritt Funeral Home, 6201 NW 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK 73008
