Lynn was raised in Borger, Texas, and was a 1968 graduate of Borger High School. Later, he received his bachelor's degree from West Texas State University. In Bentonville, he was president of Earth Science Laboratories.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Paula (Bailey) Kelley; son, Cory Kelley and wife, Christina Crane, of Seattle, Wash.; daughter, Audrey Schenkel and husband, Ryan, of Bella Vista; mother, Norma Kelley of Amarillo, Texas; brother, Charles Kelley and wife, Kelli, of Houston, Texas; sister, Karen Mizar and husband, Larry, of Borger, Texas; and two granddaughters, Alexa and Savanna.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Bentonville. Burial will follow in Bella Vista Cemetery.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, should be made to Gideons International, Arkansas Children’s Hospital or the Benton County Women’s Shelter.
