Dearest Ann...was so sorry to hear about Marvin....he was such a wonderful man...lots of good memories with you and him at CountrySide Church..a really good preacher....I always looked forward to seeing you both.  My prayers are with you Ann and your family...sending much love...

So sorry to hear about Marvin. I have wonderful childhood memories at he and Ann's home. I loved him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with Ann and the girls.

Where do I start?  I have known the Townzens for over 50 years.  When I was a little girl we went to church with them at the Assembly of God in Bentonville.  As the years went by we found ourselves again attending church together at the Assembly of God in Gravette.  When we had our 1st child, Alice, Ann baby sitted her when they were living in Bentonville.  Bro. Townzen told me there would come a day when I would come to pick Alice up to take her home that she would cry to stay with them.....AND SHE DID......he was right!
I sat under his preaching many,many times.  We loved you and Bro Townzen as family.  As the years went by we didn't stay in touch with you as we should of.  But SO enjoyed visiting with you two a few months ago.  All I could do was cry when I saw how frail Bro Townzen was.  We LOVE you and your family. And if I can quote the words to an old gospel song''I'VE MORE TO GO TO HEAVEN FOR THAN I HAD YESTERDAY''.  GOD BLESS YOU Ann and family....Diane & Andy Bennett

I was going to say that Heaven gained a new angel, but even that doesn't seem a high enough rank for what Marvin Townzen deserved.  He was a great man, & I was lucky enough to have known him & Ann my entire life. It was always so special for me when they would attend our church as a child!!   I was so happy to have had our last visit a few months ago.  I will always be their "NaNa".  He will live forever in my memory as one of the most special people I have ever known.  I loved him & I am so sorry for your loss.

I have a lot of wonderful Memories with Bro Marvin and Anne.. I know he and Floyd will have a good time in Heaven.. Some day we all will be together again.
