Margie Elizabeth Riley 87, of Bentonville, AR passed away on October 21, 2022. She was born in Martin County Williamston, NC on December 24, 1934, to the late William Thomas Cullipher and Janie Elizabeth (Barber) Cullipher Peters.
Margie grew up in Williamston, NC. and graduated in 1953. She moved to Washington, D.C. and went to work for the F.B.I. she later joined the Foreign Service where she took a tour of duty in Amman, Jordan. While there she enjoyed many sights of the Middle East. Especially the sight of a 6ft 2in Marine by the name of Ralph R. Riley (Rocky). They were married on March 25,1961 in the Church of England. Before moving to Sulphur Springs, AR they and their three sons were stationed in many different locations including Hawaii, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and Camp Lejeune NC.
She worked at several different jobs in the area retiring from Ozark Water in Sulphur Springs. Margie enjoyed her grandchildren, trips to Branson, Canasta, cooking and READING.
Margie is preceded in death by her husband Ralph R. Riley (Rocky), one sister Louise and three brothers Bill Junior, Angus, and Gene Ray.
She is survived by three sons: Frank Riley and wife Kathy of Bentonville, AR., Trent Riley of Noel, Mo. and Patrick Riley and wife Jackie of Sulphur Springs, AR. One sister Grace Riley of San Antonio, TX. She would gladly brag on her 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends who also loved her.
