Josephine Anne Davis of Raymore, Missouri went home with our Lord on June 24, 2022, after a courageous 5-year battle with cancer. She was born on June 29, 1945, in St Louis, Missouri to Irish immigrants, Sheila Julia Hannan Bradshaw and William Joseph Bradshaw. After being a stay-at-home mom, she went to work at East Jr High School so as to be close to her kids. Her final employment was as a claim’s processor at Dodson Insurance Company where she retired in 1999.
Josephine (Jo-Anne) is survived by her beloved husband of almost 56 years, Jack W. Davis; her children, Jacqueline (Michael) Kloiber & Daniel (Sonja) Davis; her brother, Thomas M. (Christine) Bradshaw; 2 sisters in law, JoAnne (Thomas) Hickey, Jerri (Marion) Davis and her loving grandchildren, Logan Davis, Loren Kloiber, Chase Kloiber, and Faith Griffith.
Jo-Anne lived and enjoyed life with her family and friends. She loved caring for animals, planting, watching birds in her yard, traveling back to Ireland to visit family and spending time with her family and friends. She instilled good values in her children which have served them well. Jo-Anne was proud of her kids and grandchildren and their accomplishments in life. She will be dearly missed and will be in our hearts forever.

A visitation for Josephine will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McGilley & George Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 611 Chestnut, Belton, MO 64012. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, July 1, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Sabina Parish, 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, MO 64012.
