Ann Elizabeth Dubay, 84, of Belton, MO, wife of the late James Robert Dubay, passed unto her eternal reward on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Research Medical Hospital. Born April 4, 1940, in Rawlins, Wyoming, she was the daughter of the late Ward Cook and Frances Delores Bangs. Ann attended Rawlins High School, and then went to business school in Portland, OR. After working in the lumber industry as a bookkeeper, she married James Dubay on October 7, 1967, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Together they embarked upon adventures that took them through the births of six children, many moves, and trips around the world.
She is survived by five of her children: David Dubay and his wife Lori of VA, Stephen Dubay and his wife Summer of MO, Jean Sarre and her husband Stefan of TX, Anthony Dubay and his wife Kristen of FL, and Jerome Dubay and his wife Katie of FL, as well as 22 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Michael Dubay.
Services will be held on Monday, November 11, at St. Vincent de Paul’s Catholic Church, KCMO, with viewing at 8:30am, Rosary at 9am, and Requiem Mass at 9:30am.
