Sadie Hyacinth McBride

Sadie leaves behind a great and loving family. Her husband Roderick Sr. of 60 years, and her six amazing adult children: Alfred, Roderick, Joel, Verna, Alvin, and Joyce. Also 12 grandchildren: Brittney, Michael, Ashley, James, Dawn, Bryan, Kylee, Alexandra, Amanda, Allan, Aaron, and Rodney. Her seven great-grandchildren include the following: Reese, Bianca, Alyanna, Anaya, Adonis, Tavian, and Adrina.

Sadie was the kindest, most loving person we’ve ever known. We feel like we grew up with the most spiritual role model who taught us to always be ourselves, to learn more, and to always trust in God! Sadie, as we all know and love, was the best wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to so many of us.

She always had a warm and caring smile that brighten any room. She was so full of life and so very joyful to be around. She taught us so much that it is difficult to put into words how great of an impact someone like Sadie was to this world and the people around her. We will never forget the caring manner in which she raised us to respect others and to be faithful to the Lord.

When times were tough and challenging, she would tell us to trust in God, to keep smiling, and to rest assured that God is with us. She worked so hard every day, not for herself, but to make sure that her family was happy and had what they needed to succeed in life.

She sacrificed so much for all of us that we will never forget her! That is all that we can ask of a great and loving soul such as Sadie McBride. We will love and miss you forever!

Thank you again for being here today to honor her memory. She loved all of you and her memory will live on in all of us forever!
