Roberta, known as Bobbie, worked as a Stuntwoman in the early 1960’s and then as a Cook for a local Retirement Home in the 1970’s. She stopped working to be a full-time stay-at-home mom.

She was loved by her family and many friends. She was always there for her family and friends, willing to give advice or a shoulder for support. She was generous, fair, open-minded, and always turned the other cheek. She taught that these intangibles were worth more than any money. Lessons her children learned by example.

She loved cooking, baking, playing cards, and other games, camping, gardening, bowling, and anything western. She would take fabric scraps and put them together to make quilt squares. She also loved watching her grandchildren and teaching them her lessons of life.

She was a member of the Whittier Rio Hondo Noblettes, and the Ladies Oriental Shrine, RA—MA Court No. 95.

Mom will be missed by many family members and friends. She touched a lot of hearts and souls with her kindness.
