Scott was born to the late Robert and Gloria Terhune and was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jean Terhune.
Scott graduated from the University of Michigan and went on to have a fulfilling career with General Electric in the Power Generation sector. His work was not just a job but a significant part of his life, contributing to his passion for innovation and development in his field.
Beyond his professional achievements, Scott was a man of many interests. He cherished the outdoors, often found walking, hiking, sailing, and traveling to new places. A voracious reader, he also enjoyed exploring the worlds within books. Above all, spending time with his family was paramount. He created countless cherished memories during family gatherings and simple everyday moments.
Scott's legacy continues through his family, who remember him with deep love and admiration. He is survived by his daughters, Kendra and her husband Joel, and Kaelyn and her husband Geoff; his grandchildren, Will, Ellie, Roselyn, and Savannah; and his sister, Sandra Randolph.
A celebration of life is scheduled to honor Scott's memory for September 7th at Mercer Island Beach Club. Details of the service will be provided, allowing all who knew him to pay their respects and commemorate a life well-lived. His gentle spirit and enduring kindness will be dearly missed by all.
