She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Julie (Rogula) Isler and her husband, Carl.
Ruth is survived by son, Craig (Janice) Bales of Columbia, Illinois, grandchildren, Brent (Katie Queen) Bales, Lyle Bales, Crystal (Tim) Nolte, Justin (Kim) Bingheim and Jessica (Derek) Robson and 9 great grandchildren.
During her lifetime, Ruth worked as a key punch operator, was in Civil Service at Scott Air Force Base and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 58 in Belleville. In her free time, her and Carl used to enjoy square dancing, camping and traveling. She also enjoyed playing bingo.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 16th, 2024, at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.

Interment will follow in Valhalla Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
