Beloved husband, father, grandfather, godfather, and friend

Ronald served in the US Army Reserves, was owner of Professional Auto Supply for 35 years, and a Maintenance Director at Freeburg Terrace until his retirement.

He enjoyed cutting his grass, BBQ’s with his family, his country home and lake, and spending time with his faithful dog and companion Lucky

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Timothy & Dora Conner; brother, David Lee Conner; nephew, Roger Conner.

He is survived by his wife, Darleen Conner, nee Winter; daughters, Rhonda Howard, Ellen McGee; grandsons, Troy Nastoff III and Danielle Cline, Ryan Conner Nastoff and Shelbi Dodd, and Joseph McGee; sister-in-law, Elaine Conner; brother-in-law, Vernon (Toni) Winter; niece, Debby Rhame; great nieces, Crystal Evans, Melanie Young; great nephew, Sean Rhame; godchildren, Debby Rhame, Crystal Evans, Jeffrey Ronald Rowald, Troy Nastoff III, Ryan Conner Nastoff; and beloved dog, Lucky.

Although he is no longer with us on this earth, his love, loyalty, and strength will live on within each one of us.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ronald’s name may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, St Louis, MO.

Visitation: Friends may call on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 12pm-2pm at St John’s UCC, 301 S Market St, New Athens, IL 62264.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2pm at the church with Dr. Rev. Koch officiating.
