James is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Veronica (Lins) Stuart.
He is survived by his wife, Michele (Wobbe) Stuart of Swansea, Illinois, stepchildren, Damon (Kelly) Snyder, Kim (Tyler) Ingham, and grandchildren, Nicholas Snyder, Amelia Snyder, Sophia Ingham, and Henry Ingham.
James served his country valiantly in the United States Army. He later earned his PhD and became a licensed Psychologist and had worked in private practice for a time until becoming a financial advisor.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024, at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois.
Funeral will be at 12:00 pm on Thursday, June 13th, 2024, at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, Illinois with an additional hour visitation one hour prior to funeral.
Interment will take place in Zion Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
