She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, whom she married on February 4, 1956, her parents, Charles and Sophie (Schoenbeck) Uffelmann, three siblings: Alfred (Wilma) Uffelmann, Luella (Albert) Burmester, and Willard (Rosemary) Uffelmann.
Arlou is survived by six children: Daniel Lowe, Rebecca (Kevin) Korte, Charles (Tracy) Lowe, Kristine Lowe, Kathleen (Daniel) Kowalik, Matthew Lowe, and six grandchildren: Christopher (Brandy) Lowe, Richard (Amy) Lowe, Amanda (Tom) Trautt, Daniel (Reese) Lowe, Stephen Korte, Russell Lowe, and ten great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be at Valhalla Garden of Memory on October 6, 2024, from 3:30 p.m. until 7:00 pm and at Zion Lutheran Church on October 7, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a church service immediately following. Arlou will then be laid to rest at Valhalla Cemetery. A lunch reception will follow the internment at Zion Lutheran Church.
