Nancy Ann Mann passed away on December 10, 2024. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held December 20, 2024, at 10 AM, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, TX 77025. A viewing will be before the service at 9 am. A private burial service will occur at the Sterling-White Cemetery in Highlands.
Nancy Ann Mann, 88, of Houston, Texas passed away on December 10, 2024. She was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on February 15, 1936, to Mary Elizabeth and George Joseph Shoup. She graduated from the University of Texas and worked as a librarian for many years in schools, at the Sterling Municipal Library in Baytown, and for the Diocese of Galveston Houston of the Catholic Church.
She was devoted to service, and active for many years in the American Association of University Women, the Catholic Daughters of America, the Serra Club, and the Pilot Club. The Baytown Sun recognized her as the 2016 Baytown Sun Citizen of the Year.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, George Patrick Mann, and her brother, Michael.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Patrick and his spouse Louise, Ronald Joseph and his spouse Allison, and Brian David and his spouse Julee.
She also is survived by ten grandchildren. Chance Mann, Hallie Mann, Taw Mann, Sarah Messano, Marianne Criscolo, Alexandra Mann, Aemilia Mann, Amber Gong, Amanda Bushman, and Rachel Taylor.
She also is survived by thirteen great-grandchildren. Madison Biggert, Jameson Mann, Adrian Frazee, Vera Frazee, Aaron Mann, Ava Criscolo, Mikey Criscolo, Ted Criscolo, Lijay Gong, Wenyin Gong, Jada Taylor, Jack Taylor, and Trey Taylor.
Pallbearers will be Michael Mann, Ronald Mann, Brian Mann, Taw Mann, Tim Krizak, and Michael Criscolo.
