Betty Hutchinson Palmerton

Betty H. Palmerton, age 88, of Bellaire, Texas passed away on September 3, 2019. She was born in Indianola, Mississippi on June 28, 1931 to parents Cash and Gracie Hutchinson. She was married to John Palmerton for 54 years. Betty worked in the banking industry for Capital National Bank, Allied Bank of Texas, and Wells Fargo. She later worked in Real Estate for Hodell-Byrd Realtors.

She was preceded in death by her son, Edison Ford Storey, Jr.; her parents Cash and Gracie Hutchinson of Jackson, MS; sister Doris Newman of Simi Valley, CA; and brother Cash Hutchinson of Jackson, MS.

She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Connolly of Deer Park, TX; step-son Stephen (Jean) Palmerton; step-daughter Vicki (David) Slack of Shreveport, LA; and step-daughter Susan (Richard) Levy of Webster, TX and special grandson, Michael Pumphrey of Bellaire, TX; 8 other grandchildren and 7 great-grand-children. She is also survived by three of her brothers, James Hutchinson of Simi Valley, CA; Harold Hutchinson of Yakima, WA and Ken Hutchinson of Jackson, MS.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home 4525 Bissonnet St. Bellaire, TX 77401 on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM. She will be inurned at Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
