Walter Louis Hess

On August 21, 2022, Walter “Bud” Hess passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Jane Hess (nee Roche), and the late Vera Adel Hess (nee Lamp). He is survived by his son Walter J. Hess and his wife Patti, grandchildren Melissa Hess Ayres, Lauren Hess Wettig, Angel Delgatti, and great-grandchildren Carter, Quinn, Jase, and Autumn; his son Michael L. Hess and his wife Beverly, grandchildren Garrett Hess and Daniel McGuire; his daughter Ruth Hess; his son John Curtain III and his wife Terri, grandchildren John Curtain IV and Joshua Curtain, and great-grandchildren Hayley, Alyssa, John V, and Bennett; his daughter Julie Curtain Owens and his granddog Luke; and his daughter Melissa Kendall, grandchildren Lindsey Holter, Julien Holter, Desi Tidwell, and Carmen Tidwell, and great-grandchild Selah.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014 on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 10AM-12PM, where a Funeral Service will be held at 12PM. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or to a Humane Society of your choice.
