We will always remember the way Pop welcomed us and our children into Schwartz/Diehl gatherings over the years. Pop never had an opinion he didn't share  and had a great, hearty laugh. He was proud of his job, his wife, his children and grandchildren -- it was evident that family was where his heart was. We offer our sincere condolences to all who had the privilege to love and be loved by Pop. <3

I will always remember your robust laughter, your booming “Hey Pammie”, how you loved to share your thoughts on...everything (laughing), and most of all your love of family. You and Pat were always there for us and my Mom loved you like a son.  We love and miss you Cuz.

On several occasions I had the privilege of working with the man, and learned by watching him in the field. He was always a stern man, but told me I was the only Coster he ever liked .
I will always remember the hours on the jobs that we worked on together,and cherish the knowledge he passed on to me. 
He will be missed by me and I'm sure many others .
God bless him and the family he left behind. He will always be watching the Boilermakers he worked with and protect them from a far. God bless Paul
