You will be greatly missed.  the moment I met you we instantly clicked. Your warmth , your wit , your sass , what a lady, what a complete package you were! I’m going to miss your laughter and your smile, the way your would light up whenever you told me how you and Pablo met!!!
I’d also like to thank you for the gift of Christine . You raised an incredible woman, someone I’m proud to call a friend.

My dearest Miriam, we met 37 years ago thru your beloved Joe or Yo-yo as you use to call him, since then we have been in our families lives, during marriages, babies and loses.  You took me as your adopted son and I took you as my adopted mother.  We didn’t need to speak , our eyes will speak for us. It hurts my heart know that you left us, specially for Tato, as I witnessed the love that you have for each other.  So long my sweet lady, one day I’ll get ti hug you again!

Knowing you Miriam Santos (Mami) was like being with family. You always gave me the comforts of home with your advice, your attention, your blunt honesty, that  awesome laugh and the unconditional love that always came through. I am blessed to have known you, so grateful to have had an opportunity to see you & speak to you before you found your peace. I wish that I got to say more, I wish I got to let you know how  you imprinted my life, how much  I admired your strength, how you’ll always be in my heart and how I’ll always do my best to live in the ways you told me.... I know you will always be watching over your family and with that I know that I will always be reminded of your presence.  May you continue to Rest In Peace 🙏🏼

Mi querida titi.  On paper she’s is my Aunt and Godmother, but in reality, she is much more than that, she treated me as if I were her own son.  She was involved in almost every aspect of my childhood.  Our bond only grew stronger as I entered adulthood.  I will miss her terribly and with great pain but I am grateful for the time the good Lord gave me with her.

To my lovely mother in law . You have been a great part of my life and welcomed me with open arms into the Santos family. The great mother daughter relationship you shared  with Christine was inspiring .  It emulated my relationship with my mom which I loved to see. I will miss having a drink with you ( Bud Light in a cup) and hearing the stories of your Jersey City days and telling me to make sure to take good care of Christine .  I was excited to plan Thanksgiving for us making sure all was perfect especially Randy’s stuffing.I’m glad we enjoyed a great meal and celebration together. As we had our final moments you asked me to take of your “ Cucu “ and the children . I will make sure they are ok until my last day.  I would love to be there to see the conversations you’ll have with my mom about Christine and the grandkids.. Until we meet again,

To My Old Lady, My Viejita Linda, Ma, Mother, Mami.  Words can not express how much you will be missed.  I have sooo many memories, too many to write about, but I will carry them in my heart forever.  I will miss the scent of Bustello brewing, I will miss hearing the sound of your chanclas hitting the floor,   I will miss sharing our convos about General Hospital cause that was our thang.  I will miss our daily phone calls, sometimes several in a day, I will miss you saying “you haven’t called me today”if I missed calling you. I will miss kissing you and hugging you.   I will miss popping up in Maryland and giving you a surprise visit, and you saying Oh my Cucu you shouldn’t have, as you hugged me tight with a smile on your face. I will miss seeing you at the window sending me off with a wave and throwing kisses from the window.  But most of all I will miss YOU.  Ma, I must say that I am truly blessed  & grateful to have had you for 46 years!  You lived a wonderful life! Thank you for being YOU.  I promise to carry on the love & strength you bestowed upon me to my children.  You taught me how a Mother should be and I will make you proud.  Christopher and Jeremy will always know their Mamabuela and how much you LOVED them.  I will take care of Pop, don’t worry.   You were strong willed, feisty, stubborn til the end.  You went YOUR WAY.  Dad and I were by your side, and I know you knew that, cause once we left , you  left.🥲  You didn’t want me and Dad to see your last breath and that’s ok cause that was you once again thinking about others.  Til we meet again Ma! The family in heaven is waiting for you, go and be free. Make sure to play with Cire cause he’s waiting for you wagging his numb, and Lucky.  I WILL FOREVER LOVE YOU! Abuela, I will never be able to put into words what you mean to me. I will cherish the memories that you blessed me with and that’s a lot of them let me tell you. I am at peace knowing you are finally with Uncle joe again and you are not in pain. With all my heart I love you so so so much and will miss you every day. Isabella and Aaliyah will grow up knowing who there great grandmother was, I promise. Thank you for blessing my life for 29 years, my world will never be the same. I’ll love you forever. Chichi.

A part of me left yesterday. You were our biggest fan and always loved us no matter what. You were there for all the big moments no matter how much you hated getting on a plane, you did it for us. I will miss the drinks we shared, the talks we had, but most of all I will miss your beautiful smile and that contagious laugh. I’ll hold on to all the memories we made, rest easy pretty lady. Ma, what can I say…it can be said you were direct, true, & one can even say raw in your words but your meanings had a profound affect good or bad but worthy…it is because of some characteristics such as your strength, laughter, thoughtfulness, foresight, & wittiness that allow you to touch so many lives…some understood & some well who cares😊 you did you my Mother & no one could ever take that away. Chris & I are better for that & will continue to live by your ways. Your Grandchildren will always luv & remember you & will cherish the times they shared. Your Great Grandchildren will always know of you as your luv will be felt. As far as Pop, your Dad, Daddy, Santo, Bruto😊 & other colorful names😊…let’s just say you two have a bond, a history, that no one can explain & a luv so extreme words can’t be describe but know this…no need to worry…he will be alright & taken care of…the phrase…’Daddy did it again’😊 will never go away.

My beloved Mrs. Santos, you truly open up your heart to me when I married your son Paul Anthony (Archito) like you called him. You were like a second mother to me, always making sure I was okay, and always telling me not to over do it because I can get sick and to take it easy.  I’m going to miss our chats even though we didn’t talk as often as we should, but when we did, we always had a laugh! You were a great wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother you loved all your children unconditionally!! I’m truly going to miss you, but I will always keep you close to my heart! Now go on and have a party in heaven, and if you see my dad tell him I say hi, and that I love and miss him. Love you always and forever Mrs. Santos!!❤️
