

Michael Lee Robinson, age 67, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025. Devoted husband of Yvette Robinson; loving father of Caiti Giordano and husband Daniel, and Nate Brown. Also survived by his dog Luna and 2 cats Winnie and Pooh.
Mike took pride in being a lifelong Motorhead. He lived and loved anything cars. He has worked in the automotive industry as a dealership Parts Manager for 47 years, his current employer Koons in Clarksville, MD. Mike has been awarded the Automotive Service of Excellence, holding this title for over 40 years.
He also took seriously his commitment to help those new to the industry learn how to maneuver the ins and outs of a particular car line.
He developed along with his wife a successful family business “Mid Atlantic Auto Dealer Inventories”; where he conducted parts inventories at dealership parts departments annually and provided support throughout the year as a consultant. This helped parts managers become better at their job. Doing this all while also being the best at running his own parts department for dealerships he was working at the time.
Mike has been working on vintage Chevrolets since he was a boy helping his father with his prewar Chevy’s. He has always been a Chevy guy, having his own and working on his 1963 Corvair Greenbriar Van.
He judged cars at car shows whenever he could and participated as a member of the Custom and Classic Car Education Foundation, a group who attempt to pass the love of old cars and restoration to the younger generations. Also, being a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America.
A visitation for Mike will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A Celebration Car Show in Memory of Mike will be held later this year.
