Barry Ray Gross

and grandfather of 9, passed away at the age of 79.

Barry was born on May 10, 1942 “on the farm” in Zions View, York County, PA to Russell

and Gladys Gross.

On January 28, 1967 he married Kathleen Wolf. They raised two sons, David and Jeff,

and one daughter Kristine.

After working at Wesco for 33 years, Barry joined his son's business at Partition Plus,

Inc. During his 21 years at PPI, he was able to spend every day with his immediate and

work family. He was the most dedicated, conscientious, and well-loved worker.

He never slowed down and when he wasn’t working, he had a passion for golfing with

his buddies at Winters Run Golf Course, watching Jeopardy, watching sports, playing

poker at the neighbors’, visiting the casino with his wife, and spending time with his

family.

Barry was preceded in death by his father, Russell, and his mother, Gladys. He is

survived by all of his siblings; sister Maryann Gingerich and her husband Tom, sister

Bonny Seifert and her husband Glenn, brother Terry Gross and his wife Ruth, brother

Larry Gross and his wife Sue, sister Nancy Tighe, sister Joy Knoll and her husband

Bruce, brother Brad Gross and his wife Janine, and brother Russell, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kathy, and his three children; David Gross and

his wife Laurie, Kristine Magnani, and Jeff Gross and his wife Jennifer. He was a loving

“grandpa” to Brian, Steven, Matthew, Caroline, Daniel, Scott, Katherine, Anna, and

Joey.

Family and friends will honor Barry’s life at the Schimunek Funeral Home in Bel Air, MD

- 610 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air, MD 21014 on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 2-6

PM.
