Margaret Ann Hartman

Margaret Ann Hartman, age 95, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023. She was born March 24, 1927 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Albert and Clara (Miller) Ruhlman. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Leo Hartman. She was a founding member of Holy Name Catholic Church and worked at the school as a secretary for many years. Margaret's faith was important throughout her life. She grew up in Sacred Heart of Jesus parish and was a Sacred Heart graduate. Margaret married Leo Hartman on June 10, 1950 and had two children. She and Leo loved to take the family on camping trips and to play cards. Margaret is survived by her children, Marty Hartman (Cindy); daughter, Susie Thompson (Steve); many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, March 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 89 N 17th Ave, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 12:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
