Billy Gene Clymore

Billy Gene Clymore A familiar face was taken from the Southeast Side by the death of Billy “Bill” Clymore. He was born Feb. 9, 1930 In Pulaski TN to the late Maurice and Ruth Clymore. He was united in marriage to Donna L. Pershing on May 26, 1952, and to this union was born three children, Sharla, Belinda and Michael. Bill’s first love, however, was congregational song leading, beginning at the age of 14, he led into his 70’s. He was organist for Mars View Christian Church for 20 years. He also sang for the Cadle Tabernacle Choir for 3 years. He work for Allison of GM for 36 years retiring in 1987, then worked security at the Indiana Roof Ballroom for 12 years. Bill spent two years in the US Army one of which was spent in Korea. He is survived by his daughter Sharla (Thomas) Troll: son Michael (Karen) Clymore; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his wife Donna Clymore; daughter Belinda Frisbie and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wed. May 20th from 4-8 pm at the Little & Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove Chapel. Funeral Services will be Thur. May21st at11:00 AM in the funeral home.
