Shirley Ann Heath

August 18, 1936 – February 2, 2023

Shirley A. Heath, 86, of Daniels went to be with her Lord February 2, 2023 in Lexington Community Hospice House, Lexington, SC following a lengthy illness.

Born August 18, 1936 at Blue Jay, she was the daughter of the late Burley and Wavie Cox-Lilly Farley.

Mrs. Heath was a lifetime homemaker and member of Daniels Bible Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Raymond Heath, sisters Frances Price, Doris McGhee, Betty Lane and brother Ivan Farley.

She is survived by son, Douglas (Brenda) of Cool Ridge; daughter Sandy (Scott) Rucker of Columbia, SC; two grandchildren Martha (Joe) Rose of Odd; Hannah (Justin) Johnson of Cool Ridge; six great grandchildren Chris (Victoria Sowder) Rose of Princeton; James Rose of Odd; Elizabeth Rose of Odd; Wesley Johnson of Cool Ridge; Abigayle Johnson of Cool Ridge; Kathryn Johnson of Cool Ridge; great great grandson Christopher Rose of Princeton; and special friend Tammy Woods.

Service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. The family will be accepting visitors at 12:00 pm until the time of the service with livestreaming available through the Blue Ridge Facebook page. A burial will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Daniels Bible Church Building Fund, 1351 Ritter Drive, Daniels, WV 25832 or to a charity of choice.
