Patricia Ann Campbell

Patty loved playing the piano, decorating cakes, and ceramics. She enjoyed being with her family, friends, and volunteering at the V.A. Hospital. She graduated from Concord College with degrees in education and administration. She touched many lives as a teacher in the Logan, Boone, and Raleigh County School systems from which she retired.

Those who she preceded her in death include her parents, her loving husband Ray Otis Campbell, sisters; Frances Scott, Geneva Rupe, Legatha Furrow, Martha Phelps, Maude Jordan, and brothers; Paul and Howard Link.

Those left to cherish her memory include a brother Jerry Link, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Bertha Meador for helping with Patty’s care in recent months.

Services will be held on December 13, 2022 at 1 PM with Dr. Jonathan Rinker officiating at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until the time of the service. Donations of sympathy can be made to Crow Christian Church in her name. Blue Ridge Funeral Home, 5251 Robert C. Byrd Drive is honored to be serving the Campbell family.
