Margie Marie Stanley “Midge” of Coal City passed away June 30, 2024, after a long illness. Born January 14, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Owen Ellison and Hettie Mullins Ellison. Midge loved her pets and had worked many different jobs. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angie Spence and husband Douglas Stanley. Those left to cherish her memory include, stepson Douglas "Neil" Stanley and wife, Lisa of Beckley, son Christopher Ellison and wife, Patricia of Josephine; three grandchildren, Timmy Totten, Sabrina Totten and Brianna Ellison; three great grandchildren, Leon, Lance and Grace all of Coal City; brothers, Owen Ellison of NC, John Ellison of WI, Billy Ellison and wife Belinda of Coal City, Mike Ellison and wife Linda of Coal City; sister in law, Martha Ellison of Coal City and a large extended family and friends. There will be no formal services at this time and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
