Lucille “Lou” Bolon, 91 of Beckley went to be with Lord on November 9, 2024 following a long illness. Born March 17, 1933 in Homer City, PA. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine Miano Campanaro.
She was preceded in death by her siblings; Marie Wayton, Michael “Mickey” Campanaro, Angelo Campanaro, and her grandson Cade Bare.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, John Campanaro, her children; Ed (Lisa) Bolon, Sandra Davis, and Judy Bare; grandchildren, Zachary (Shannon) Bolon, Aaron Clemens, Chase (Shasta) Davis, Jordyn Christian, Colton Bare and Makenna Bare and great-granddaughters; Adileigh Davis, Madelyn Clemens, and Kierstin Clemens, along with one nephew and a number of nieces.
Lucille was devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her family and enjoyed watching her children raise their own families. Lucille took great pride in her strong work ethic. She worked the majority of her adult life as a Produce Manager at Burgess IGA, this is where she made lasting friendships that she spoke of often. Lucille was long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Beckley. Lucille will be extremely missed.
The family would like to thank The Raleigh Center staff and the Bowers Hospice House for providing such special care, Jerry Wiley for assisting the family in her care, and for Christy Dean for her unwavering friendship.
Services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Doc Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be family.
Friends may gather with the family Thursday from 12:00pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
