Lena Bell Jones

Lena was a member of Callaway Heights Baptist Church in Beckley. Lena was a loving, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her late husbands, Jackson L. Snyder and Elmer “Posey” Jones, and her parents, Oather and Arbutus Bennett; brother, Harless, and sisters, Geneva, Corina, Wanda, Norma, and Linda.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving and caring daughter, Cynthia Giles and companion, Hank Pemberton of Oak Hill, WV; son, Samuel Snyder and wife, Deborah of Fenwick, WV. Grandchildren include Carla Blevins and husband, Hubie of Lewisburg, Kevin Giles of Lewisburg, Brandon Snyder and wife, Mindy of Hickory, NC, Emily Flanigan and husband, Jeremey of Fenwick and Samantha Snyder of Craigsville, WV. Great-grandchildren include Skylar and Gage Blevins, Nela Giles of Lewisburg, Kamryn and Kayson Snyder of NC, Dalyon, Liam, and Eli Flanigan of Fenwick, WV.

Funeral Services will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Friends may gather with the family from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers.
