Lee Roy Stanley

He was born on May 20th, 1942 at Bud Mountain, Bud, WV, the son of the late Hobert and Rosa Bishop Stanley.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Karen Loraine Cox Stanley; a brother, Harrison "Ted" Stanley; 2 sisters, Ramona Cordell and Rosalyn Whitt; a sister-in-law, Debra Stanley, and a brother-in-law, Amon Rowe.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Bryan(Christy) Stanley of Pineville, WV; a daughter, Tracy Lynn (Eddie) Elkins of SC; brothers, Jonathan (Mary) Stanley of Fellows CA, Amon Stanley of Bud Mountain; sisters, Joyce Hylton of Bud Mountain and Martha Rowe of Bud Mountain; 5 grandchildren, Austin Stanley, Hunter (Breanna) Stanley, Braxton Stanley, Brittany (Brent) Marks, and Derek Elkins; 2 great-grandsons, Oliver Stanley and Howie Marks, and a multitude of nieces , nephews, and a host of close friends.

He had a special friend at Wyoming Healthcare that he adored. He loved talking and venting to her, Ammie Walker (CNA). They had a special bond of friendship.

To keep with his wishes, Lee will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate the life of Lee Stanley.
