Kenneth Dale Canady was born on September 29, 1945 to Glen and Lillian (Thomas) Canady in Sullivan, WV.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Linda Graham Canady of Coal City, WV, his children; Brian (Vanda) Canady of Coal City, WV; Kenneth (Tracie) Canady of Mabscott, WV; Michael (Trena) Canady of Beckley, WV; Joshua (Miranda) Canady of Beckley, WV; Clinton (Mary) Graham of Bud, WV; Tammy (Jason) Thomas of Midway, WV and Marvin (Roseanne) Graham of Hillsville, VA. He was a beloved Grandpa to 23 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
Kenny loved the Lord and shared his Christian faith to anyone who was willing to listen. Kenny started working in and around the coal mines at the age of 15, with coal miner being his primary profession. He served in the Army National Guard and was also a skilled concrete and block mason. Kenny was known as “Pops” by many he worked with and known for his strength and willingness to always help in whatever way he could. When you had a conversation with Kenny his goal was to make you smile or laugh. His home was always filled with love and laughter.
Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Thursday, January 20th at 11:00 a.m. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, Kenny would have wanted his friends and family to donate to a church of their choice or a fellow man in need of assistance.
