Janet Kincaid

Janet Elaine Kincaid, 78 of Beckley, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior and join her best friend and love of her life Robert “Bob” Kincaid Jr. on Wednesday October 11, 2023. She peacefully entered into the gates of Heaven, welcomed with open arms surrounded by her sons and daughter in law. Janet was born in 1945 in the town of Mt. Hope, WV to the late Rockford and Launa Logan.

Janet enjoyed her life with her best friend and love of her life. She enjoyed riding on the back of the Harley Davidson and fishing in every lake in the tri state area from the rear of the Ranger bass boat. However, before any other obligation or hobby, Janet always put her family first and made it a point that each knew she would always be there in the good and bad.

Those left to cherish her wonderful life are her two sons, Rocky Gilkerson, wife Landy Gilkerson of Trinity, NC and Michael Kincaid of Huntersville, NC. Her grandchildren, Terri Gilkerson of Trinity, NC, Rocky Gilkerson, Jr. and his wife Courtney Gilkerson of Denton, NC, Ty Kincaid and Georgia Kincaid of Huntersville, NC. Her 5 great grandchildren, Zachary, Chase, Kayla, Emery and Sydney and two great-great grandchildren, Kolt and Houston. As well as two important young men that she helped raise, Connor and Carson Morehead of Daniels, WV; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also, left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Beverly Jacobs, Dover, DE, Lillian Logan, Beckley, WV, Sam Logan, Mt. Hope, WV, Danny Logan, Mt. Hope, WV and Glenn Logan, Beckley, WV.

Graveside services will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Eddie McNelly officiating. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.blueridgefuneralhome.com.
