Mrs. Etta Faye Ayers

Etta Faye Ayers, 82, of Sandyville, WV, passed away February 25, 2022.

Born October 7, 1939 in Princewick, WV, she was a daughter of the late Sam Harvey Altice and the late Roxie Mae Cole Altice.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Ayers; two sons, Raymond and Michael Ayers; a great-grandson, Baby Justin; siblings, Clarabelle Ward, Bulia Wilson, Elebeth Blevins, Virginia Peterson, Ray Altice, Arthur Altice, Everette Altice, and Freddie Altice.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving children, Eulia Reed and husband, Jerry, Sr of Clarksville, TN, Preston Ayers and wife, Virginia of Fayetteville, WV, Arthur Ayers and wife, Barbara of Sandyville, Leon, WV; grandchildren, JW, Michelle, Missy, Mandy, Daniel Lee, Merriea, Felicity, Rolland, Jean Nicole, Brandie, Branden, and Brad; great-grandchildren, Destiny, Jerry III, Meranda, Abigail, Austin, Hannah, Emily, Krista, Nathan, Levi, Brianna, Alexis, 2 boys and girl, Kezlin, Braylen, Gabriel, Hayden, Nae, Everly, McClellan, Gracie, Staton, Madalynn, Brayden, Emma, Brycen, Rylee, and Embr Jade; great-great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Joyanna, Jeremiah, Watson, and Braxton; a sister, Elise Ward of FL.

Services to celebrate the life of Etta Fay Ayers will be held 2:00PM Friday, March 4, 2022 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Larry Humphrey officiating. Following the services, Etta will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Raymond at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.

Friends may gather with the family from 1:00PM until time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
