Blue Ridge Funeral Home Beckley, West Virginia David Edward “Mick” Taylor David Edward “Mick” Taylor, 74, of Scarbro, passed away October 7, 2015. Born June 5, 1941 he is the son of the late William Taylor and Kathlene Clifford Taylor. Mick had worked as a steelworker. He never met a stranger and enjoyed telling stories. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Carl Wayne Taylor, Charles Taylor, Gene Taylor and sister, Drema Surnear. Those left to cherish his memory is his son, David W. Taylor and wife Jeri; brothers; Howard Taylor, and Roger Taylor; and sister, Linda Hancock. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with pastor Michael Knotts officiating. Friends may gather with the family at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until the time of the service.
