David Alan James

David enjoyed riding motorcycles, landscaping and painting.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother, Donald James.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Linda Downs and husband, John of Grenada MS, Barbara Hale and husband, Harold of Pikeville, KY, Marcella Rutherford and husband, Charles of Mt. Gilead, NC, Teresa Lilly and husband, Ricky of Blue Jay, WV, Connie Meadow and husband, Davy of Shady Spring, WV; brother, Arnold James and companion, Robin Goins of Shady Spring, WV; nephews, Shane Meadows, Jonathan Meadows, Ernie James, Bobby James, Petie Downs, Michael Hale, Kenneth Hale, Ricky Lilly; nieces, Debbie Hooks, Lisa Scaff and Tanya West.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Winston Lowe officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

Friends may gather with the family Saturday from 1 – 2 PM at the funeral home.
