Connie Lee McKinney, 78, of Corrine, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 following a long illness.
Born February 4, 1943 in Alan Junction; she was a daughter of the late Thomas James Houston and the late Ethel Hamby Houston.
Connie was a member of the First Church of God in Corrine, WV
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer McKinney; a granddaughters, April Dawn Bolen and Sarah Nicole Smith; siblings, Paul Houston, Alice Stefanic, Willie Houston, Nellie Halsey, Bobby Houston, Joe Houston, and Jackie Houston.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving children, Allan Bolen of New Smyrna, FL, Darlene Hale of Kingsport, TN, and Betty Jordan of Coeburn, VA; two brothers, Cletus Houston and Jimmy Houston; four sisters, Shirley Beecham, Charlotte Mitchem, Frankie Clay, and Linda Hutton; two grandchildren, Samantha Vines and Diana Hale; five great grandchildren, Ivy Browning, Jazzmine, Miley and, Amma Smith and one on the way.
Services to celebrate the life of Connie Lee McKinney will be held 11:00AM Friday, May 14, 2021 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Evelyn Williamson of the First Church of God, Corrine officiating. Brother Doug Thorne will be conducting the graveside rites at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley with burial to immediately follow.
Friends may gather with the family from 10:00AM until time of the service, Friday at the funeral home.
