She was born on June 29th, 1951 in Green Sulfur Springs to the late Kenneth and Goldie Fleshman. She was a member of Cranberry Baptist Church. Bonnie loved tending to her garden. One of her favorite things to do was watch the birds that came to her feeders.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Bill Austin; two brothers Robert Fleshman and Roger Fleshman; and a grandson, Michael Davis.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughters, Melissa Davis and husband, Marshall and Stephanie Daniel and husband, Robert; five grandchildren, Christopher and Kirsten Daniel, Matthew Davis and wife, Megan, Cierra Price and husband, Levi, and Cassidy Davis; and two great-grandchildren, Michael Davis and Liam Price; as well as a brother, Carl (John) Fleshman; a sister, Linda Berry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Bonnie Sue Austin will be held 1:00PM Friday, November 10, 2023 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Roger E. Pauley officiating. Following the services Bonnie will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Marshall Davis, Robert Daniel, Christopher Daniel, Matthew Davis, Levi Price, and Fred Hart will be serving as pallbearers.
Friends may gather with the family from 12:00PM until time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Raleigh General Hospital and Cabell Huntington Hospital and the Bowers Hospice House for the excellent care that was provided.
