Amanda L. Attilli Hedge Hensley

Amanda was born in Corrine, WV on April 10, 1936 to the late Ermon and Virvia Horton.

Amanda was a devoted parent raising 5 children. She also enjoyed square dancing, cooking and taking care of her flower garden.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, John B. Attilli and Dan Hedge; sons, Wilbur Attilli and John L. Attilli; brothers, Thurman (Dink) Horton and Sherman Ray Horton; and sister, Beulah Khan.

Those left to cherish her memory includes her husband, Carl Hensley; sons, Roger Attilli and wife Tonya of Daniels, Kenneth Attilli of Sophia; daughter, Linda Farley and husband Fred of Midway; brothers, Thomas (Tom) Horton and wife Carol of Beckley, William (Bill) Horton of Beckley and sister, Irene (Sissy) Hensley of Beckley.

She was the proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Those wishing to pay their respects and share their memories with Amanda’s family can do so on Friday, October 5th, from 1:00 -2:00 pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm, conducted by Rev. Johnny Doug Walls.

Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
