Aiden was a 2020 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School where he was on the Varsity Football, Wrestling and Baseball teams. He was full of life, having a love for his family, friends and animals, especially his dog, Bailey. Aiden was a Journeyman Electrician for Jason Harry Electrical. He was always one to take up for someone. Aiden was the type of individual who would give you the shirt off his back or the last five dollars in his pocket.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jake Douglas Shehan, Sr. and his uncle, Donnie Cadle. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Evelyn “Eve” Ann Cadle Nida and his step-father, Aaron Nida of Huntington; his father, Jake Douglas Shehan, Jr. of Hickory, NC; his brother, Peyton Shehan of Morgantown; his step-brothers, Arthur and Ezra Nida of Huntington; his maternal grandparents, James and Betty Cadle of Beckley; his paternal grandmother, Karen Shehan of Hickory, NC; his grandmother, Linda Gray of Huntington; aunts and uncles, Shane and Sylvia Cadle of Princeton and Adam Cadle of Oak Hill; his many cousins; great-uncles, Scott Paradis and Charlie Rogers; his fiance, Kenzie Bartoli; his best friends, Gavin Price, Zack Weaver, Dustin Neal, Elizabeth Cadle, Antwon Burnett and many more; and his coach and mentor, Coach Street Sarrett.
A Service to Celebrate Aiden’s life will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 3:00 pm, in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
Aiden’s Celebration of Life will be LIVE via Blue Ridge Funeral Home & Memorial Garden’s Facebook page.
In accordance with the current CDC guidelines, the family and the staff of Blue Ridge Funeral Home ask that those who attend the services wear proper facial coverings and practice social distancing at all times.
