Darlene Jeanne Lish

Darlene Jeanne Lish was born July 31, 1937 in Portland, Oregon died on February 14, 2023. She married William J Lish on February 28, 1958. They had two children, Steve and Jodi.

Darlene had multiple jobs ranging from being a receptionist to working as a switchboard operator for the Port of Portland.

She enjoyed working on puzzles, playing games such as chess, checkers and cards. She was very artistic and enjoyed drawing dresses and animals, as well as painting scenes of nature.

She gave her life to Jesus and loved reading her Bible and listening to gospel music.

She had a kind heart and would find ways to serve others by driving them to doctors appointments, to the store or other places they needed to go.

Darlene loved her cats. She had up to five at one time. Some were stray cats who just needed a home.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband Bill and survived by her brother William Bown, her son Steve Lish, her daughter Jodi Cedergreen, five grandson, two granddaughters and three great grandson.

Funeral Service Friday, February 24, 2023 at 10:30 am at Pegg, Paxson & Springer Funeral Chapel.

Graveside to follow at Willamette National Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
