Robert Wayne Robertson, known affectionately as "Bob," passed away on April 9, 2024, at Christus St. Elizabeth in Beaumont, TX. He was born on Christmas Eve in 1958 in Dallas, TX, to his parents Charlie T. Robertson and Mary Williams. Bob was a resident of Port Arthur, TX for over 20 years, after moving from Brookeland, TX.
Bob was a dedicated, self-employed carpenter throughout his life, showcasing his craftsmanship and skill in every project he undertook. Beyond his profession, he had a passion for playing darts, earning himself the moniker "Bob" among friends and loved ones. He was known for his infectious smile, especially when engaged in his favorite pastimes. Additionally, Bob found solace and joy in the great outdoors, especially camping and fishing trips. His brother Jessie often joked that Bob could have thrived as a caveman due to his love for nature.
Bob's presence illuminated the lives of those around him, and he forged deep connections both within his family and among his extensive circle of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie T. and Mary Robertson, and his sister Linda Young. Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Phyllis Robertson, and his son, Robert "Bear" Robertson of Port Arthur, TX. He is also survived by his brothers, Jessie Robertson of Silsbee, TX, Charlie Robertson of Brookeland, TX, and his sister, Samantha McMahon of Brookleand, TX. Bob leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, cherished by his three grandchildren, Traci, Kimber, and Kade, as well as his three great-grandchildren.
Though Bob is no longer be with us in person, his spirit will endure in the hearts of all who knew him, and his memory will be honored with every dart thrown.
