Rebecca Ann Loebach, 83, of Galveston, died Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Cascades of Galveston Nursing Home. A native of Beaumont, she has lived in Galveston for 13 years and was a retired secretary from Lucas Oil. Rebecca enjoyed reading, bowling, knitting, writing her novel, and spending time with her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont, burial will follow in Garden of Rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will begin at 1:00 pm until service time on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents Jimmy and Rosalie Gilliam, brother Tony Gilliam, and her great grandson Jared Johnson, Jr.
Rebecca is survived by her sons Kenneth Hammond of Spring, Chuck Olivier and his wife Tina of Spring, Chris Loebach and his wife Emily of The Woodlands, TX., daughter Rosie Wilson and her husband David of Spring, TX., brothers, Butch Gilliam and his wife Theresa of Lumberton, and Rusty Gilliam of Beaumont, her grandchildren Sammy Wilson and his wife Karli-Alyce, Ryan Hammond, Holly Johnson, Michael Olivier and his wife Melissa, Rachel Olivier and Sean McKeown, Joey Olivier and his wife Darlene, Megan Olivier and Ty Fossett, Morgan Zoe Wilson, Katherine E. Wilson, and her great granddaughter Lauren Johnson, Jerimiah Taylor, Michael Olivier, III, Miranda Olivier, Maddie Olivier, Gavin Lewis, and Grayson Lewis, Cooper Willis, Annie Willis, and Freya Olivier McKeown.
Rebecca will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
